As a student project, the article “What is the IoT? Everything you need to know about the Internet of Things right now” served as inspiration for the image. As the article focused on the different ways the Internet of Things worked by connecting networks and wireless data, the image created remained focused on these ideas. The objects are all connected to the center image of the internet logo to show they are all linked. The objects were placed in the shape of a lightbulb to further develop the idea. All aspects of the final image were composed in Adobe Illustrator. The pen tool and pathfinder tool were primarily used to build the objects, then they were colored. A dark background was added to allow the images to stand out.
